A queer story
In June 2024 the first exhibition Fluids took place at the Remote Gallery in the West end Toronto. Six weeks before, three friends and artists were discussing the importance of queer visibility in our society and the three of them realized how impactful this part of activism was in their own work. It was decided, for Pride Month, they had to produce something special !
Fluids is the beautiful mix of every art expression to increase and to popularize the queer gender images through exhibitions, shows, performances, installations, events, …
The Collective is run today by two original artists of the first exhibition:

Renato Baldin:
@renato.baldin
Brazilian queer multidisciplinary artist, curator, and LGBTQIA+ activist. His current work focuses on immersive art installations reflecting from immigrant and queer perspectives. A recipient of the Newcomer Mentorship Grant from TAC in 2022. His recent installation includes Queeleidoscope (2023), Narcissus (2023), Rocking Futures (2021), and The Empathy Museum: Walking in Your Shoes (2017).

Maria Allass:
@mariaallass
French Bearded drag queen.
Her work is based on music to build bridges with other communities, to support and to entertain her community. She is a professionally trained opera singer and shares her love of music of all kinds everywhere she can.
Maria wants her appearance to question gender codes on a deeper level. That is why she chose to be a bearded queen, showing her overweight and hairy body with the most glamorous and shiniest outfits possible.
